Food Intolerance Test

Working with a world-leading allergy and intolerance lab, we’ve created a bespoke intolerance test that measures the concentration of specific IgG4 intolerances in your blood to the most common food groups that our customers with intolerances typically have reactions to.

Testing for food intolerance can help to identify which part of your diet is giving you those uncomfortable symptoms. If you suffer from bloating, IBS, fatigue, weight gain, migraines, brain fog or joint pain, it could be caused by a food intolerance.

More about this test

Studies have shown the benefit of IgG food antibody testing in conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, migraines, depression, eczema, autoimmune disease, Crohn’s disease and obesity, by implementing an elimination diet of foods proven to cause an immune response.

IgG food intolerance testing is an excellent way to understand if adverse food reactions are the cause of your symptoms. This test identifies elevated IgG antibodies to specific food and drink products and the resulting information can be used to make an informed decision about how to adapt your diet and for how long.

IgG4 antibody testing measures the level of IgG4 to specific food items. IgG4 food antibodies can result in a delayed response to a food. Circulating antibodies can affect each person differently. For some elevated antibody levels may not result in any symptoms but for others they may lead to constipation, diarrhoea, changes in bowel movements, bloating, headaches and joint aches.

IgG4 antibody testing for food intolerance does not test for coeliac disease, lactose intolerance, histamine intolerance, food allergy (IgE reaction) or any other medical condition.

If you have any medical conditions, are pregnant, breast-feeding or below the age of 18 we recommend that any dietary changes are made under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

Please note this is not an allergy test. You can check out all of our food intolerance and allergy tests.
