We breakdown further your bad cholesterol in the form of LDL (low-density lipoprotein), and Triglycerides (TG’s) which are another type of fat (lipid) found in your blood, but can be very raised even in healthy slim people as its often due to genetic factor.

High levels of either of these lipids increases your risk of developing heart disease and stroke. We screen for diabetes by taking a random Glucose level which indicates the amount of sugar in your blood.

Ferritin is the way we store iron in our body, and low levels may indicate the presence of an iron deficient anaemia. C-Reactive Protein (CRP) shows if there is inflammation presently in your body, which can be caused from any injury or more serious causes such as an undiagnosed cancer.
