When the test (T) line shows a dense colour alongside the control (C) line this means someone is deficient. A mid-coloured T line and control (C) line means insufficient and a lightly colour T line suggests sufficient levels. No T line would suggest excess levels.

The test can be used at anytime of the day or when you experience common vitamin D deficiency symptoms (See symptoms below). People in less sunnier climates or those who regularly shield from the sun are advised to the test as a screening tool as part of a regular healthcare routine.
